EU Citizens living in the UK

Unravelling and Reimagining the UK's Relationship with the EU

What do you think about the referendum outcome? What do you consider to be the key factors that prompted people to vote Leave or Remain, or perhaps not to vote at all? What do you think is important in the UK's relationship with the EU and its Member States moving forward?

Throughout January and February 2017 we held a series of events (listed below) to engage with members of the public within our local community about these questions. From these events, we have written a report and produced a short film.

The report and film were launched at a discussion event on 22 May, 6-7.30pm, Michaelhouse Cafe, Trinity Street, Cambridge.

Our report and film were covered by the University of Cambridge, Anglia TV, Cambridge News and LSE Brexit Blog.

At all of our public engagement events we used a short film to stimulate debate. The footage for this film was shot in Cambridge and Wisbech in December 2016. We asked people three questions:

  1. What do you think about Brexit?
  2. What do you want from a future relationship between the UK, EU and other European countries?
  3. What’s your message to Theresa May and her government?

What do you think?
